Take the type-approval number from the Certificate of Conformity. For registration in Great Britain it must start with 'e', 'p', 'g' or 'n'. If you're providing an IVA, MSVA or GB conversion certificate instead, leave this blank — DVLA records it in the 'Official Use Only' boxes. If the vehicle doesn't need evidence of type approval because of how it's constructed, leave blank and fill in question 72 on page 2.
